What evening meal do you provide for Racing Staff?
Meals are available the day before racing from 2pm until 9pm in the canteen, this is situated next to the stable/accommodation block, it is cash only.
What type of food does the Racing Staff Canteen offer?
There are many dishes available from roasts to salads, all made in-house by our chef. Allergies can be catered for and vegetarians have many choices.
Is food available all day?
Food is available from 2pm-9pm on a pre-race day and on day of racing, the canteen is open 6am until an hour after the last race. There will be a limited number of roast on a day but plenty of other options.
Is there anything else you’d like to let Racing Staff know about the food and refreshments?
All freshly made, many using our organic produce from the farm. There is free high quality coffee available all day also.
Where is the staff accommodation located on the racecourse?
It is away from the racecourse at the main estate next to the stable block

For courses staging multi-day fixtures, what time can staff check in?
Check can be at anytime, although over the Qatar Goodwood Festival times can be delayed as of the huge turnover of horses racing.
Anytime on a normal race day, but over the Qatar Goodwood Festival we would like it to be 1pm.

There are plans underway for major redevelopment of the accomodation block, but due to Grade 1 listing, there is no date of completion as of yet.
