ENTRY DEADLINE: Sunday 14th July

This is your chance to be a part of Racing Welfare’s first-ever charity calendar.

During Racing Staff Week, Racing Welfare launched their first charity calendar, and they need your help – so cameras at the ready!

They want to see images from across racing’s workforce, showing the diverse nature of our industry and workplaces.

The categories are:

  • Wildlife/nature in the workplace – Judged by the ROA
  • Movement and action (think gallops, schooling, racing, yard work, horses in paddocks etc.) – Judged by RaceTech
  • My ‘Office’ views (help us showcase the diversity of ‘office’ view in the racing industry) – Judged by the RCA
  • Stars of the future – Judged by the TBA
  • Showing love for the horse (capturing the bond between horse and human) – Judged by the NTF
  • The most inspired team photo – extra points for creativity! – Judged by the BHA/Diversity in Racing

There will be a winner and a runner-up for each category. All 12 shortlisted photos will be featured in the 2025 Racing Welfare Calendar. The overall winner will be decided by a panel including Betfair, Racing Welfare, and Journalist David Yates.

Prizes:

Category winners: £50 One4All shopping voucher, plus a copy of the calendar.
Category runners up: £25 One4All shopping voucher, plus a copy of the calendar.
Overall winner: 2 x tickets to the Racing Welfare Charity Lunch at Haydock Park on Friday 6th September (Day 1 of the Sprint Cup meeting), plus £100 One4All shopping voucher and a copy of the calendar.

How to enter:

Email your entries to communications@racingwelfare.co.uk, with the name of the category that you are entering as the message subject ie. Wildlife/nature in the workplace.

When emailing your image, ensure you send the full size/ actual size (3-5MB is ideal). Compressed or cropped images are unlikely to be of high enough quality to be accepted.

Include the following information with your entry:

  • Name
  • Contact details
  • Employer/place of work
  • A brief summary of your photo

Entries must be received by Sunday 14th July.
