BHA screening for Trainers and Staff

 In News Feed

Please note that following changes to the COVID-19 requirements, trainers and stable staff, as Amber Zone attendees, do not need to complete the Racing2Learn training module or the pre-raceday questionnaire.

Trainers and stable staff are only asked to register to attend the fixture (see below) and complete entry screening on arrival at the racecourse.

All other elements of the registration process remain the same, as detailed in the COVID-19 Guidelines and Operating Procedures:

  • Registration: Please continue to register for the fixture using the staff declaration process on Racing Admin. This is essential for NHS contact tracing and to ensure you are granted access to the racecourse. For more information, see Section D (22) of the updated protocols.
  • Declaring staff: please continue to do this via Racing Admin. Staff declarations must be completed by 3pm the day before the fixture.
  • Raceday privilege and requirement requests: should also be completed using the Declare Staff section on Racing Admin. See Section D (22) for details.
  • Medical screening on arrival at the racecourse: this remains the same. You will be asked for your photo ID and will need to complete a temperature check, together with some brief entry screening questions.
For more information about this process, please see the full COVID-19 Guidelines and Operating Procedures.
