What evening meal do you provide for Racing Staff?
No food available onsite. The stable manager offers Tea/Coffee if the staff are desperate. A £10 voucher is given to all overnight staff on arrival which is refunded next morning on the production of a receipt. Excellent food and refreshment offerings in and around Uttoxeter.
What type of food does the Racing Staff Canteen offer?
A full range of menus is offered by our Canteen operator who is conscious of the needs of modern day Racing Staff catering for dietary needs and healthy eating.
Is food available all day?
From four hours before the first race to an hour after the last race.
Is there anything else you’d like to let Racing Staff know about the food and refreshments?
We welcome feedback and comments from all Racing Staff who should ideally speak to the Clerk of the Course or failing him, The Staff in the Racecourse Office or The Stable Manager. We will do all we can to improve the experience for all Racing Staff when visiting Uttoxeter.
Where is the staff accommodation located on the racecourse?
No accommodation on site – all Racing Staff are booked in to local Hotels, B&B’s or Hostels. All trainers are asked to book all overnight accommodation for horses and staff by emailing – stabling@uttoxeter-racecourse.co.uk. Most trainers are good but odd ones forget which can cause issues!
