The 2022 Toby Balding Award for Training & Development is now open!

The 2022 Toby Balding Award for Training & Development is now open. This is an annual £3,000 award to a member of racing staff who demonstrates a desire to further their career and to train for a higher-level qualification or undertake personal development training.

The award is funded by the National Trainers Federation Charitable Trust (NTFCT) from a donation made by the Swire Trust in memory of the late racehorse trainer Toby Balding. Mr Balding was dedicated to the support and development of young people in the horseracing industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to get receive funding for your personal development.
