About Bryan Smart
Bryan Smart began training at Hambleton House in 2002 following 12 successful years in Lambourn where he was also a National Hunt jockey in his early career riding over 200 winners. Hambleton, located in the North York Moors National Park, is steeped in racing history dating back to the 17th Century and Bryan is proud to have brought the yard back to its former glory. As a flat trainer Bryan has trained many winners including 17 group and listed winners. His most recent achievement was training the 2018 Nunthorpe Winner at York, Alpha Delphini. With excellent training facilities and private gallops in a stunning location Bryan Smart is able to offer the very best environment for horses to be trained in. Bryan and Vicky Smart are passionate about retraining and rehoming of their former racehorses and are actively involved with the charity ROR.
