National Trainers Federation announces launch of the 2021 Lycetts Leadership & Team Champions Awards

The National Trainers Federation (NTF) and Lycetts Insurance Brokers are pleased to announce the launch of the 2021 Lycetts Leadership & Team Champions Awards.
Entries open on Monday 17th May 2021 and will close on Wednesday 30th June 2021. Winners will be invited to a prize giving and hospitality event at Sandown Park Racecourse on 15th September 2021, hosted by the NTF and Lycetts Insurance Brokers.
The Awards will again celebrate racehorse training yards which cultivate the best team ethos, exhibit outstanding leadership qualities and demonstrate innovative approaches to management. This year there are three Awards categories.

Lycetts Team Champions Award
This year, the award provides an opportunity for racing staff to tell us about their team and to gain the recognition they deserve. The Lycetts Team Champions Award is recognising and celebrating the best teams on racehorse training yards, regardless of the size of the yard and from the staff’s perspective.
Racing staff – we would like to hear your stories which demonstrate why you’re part of such a great team and why there is no team quite like yours!
A £4000 prize awaits the winning team.

Lycetts Leadership Award
There are four sections that make up the Lycetts Leadership Award and all Excellence Awards. These sections are based on The Winning Approach, a set of industry standards in management and employment practices. Trainers can enter just one or multiple sections and the entry process has been further simplified this year.
A £4000 prize awaits the winning Trainer for their yard.
The Excellence Awards are kindly sponsored by George Smith Horseboxes.

Farm & Stable Award for Innovation & Wellbeing
This award is an opportunity for Trainers and their teams to demonstrate how innovative approaches to management and well-being both benefit the whole yard and contribute to its success.
The winning Trainer & their team will win £2,000 of products from the range at Farm & Stable. Runners up will win fabulous prizes too.
